Quercus Stellata; A Texan Oak

This is a representation of the life cycle of a Texan oak tree, the Quercus Stellata.  This particular tree is on my Boerne Texas property and is a "mighty oak" as they say!  It was wonderful to watch it through the seasons and record the springtime buds and the falling leaves.  owning a home in Texas and learning about the different species of trees is a new interest of mine.  I love the way this oak tree image floats across the page as the winds of the seasons move as they change.
