Today is opening day of my solo expo at the Boerne Library for the month of September 2016.  I have 45 pieces of work up with various tools on display along with some write-ups of the different styles, where I lived, some stories behind the creations and some medicinal value education of plants.  The history of botanical illustration is interesting and so I geared the expo to explaining it and also how my own style has evolved over the years.  This has been a wonderful opportunity for me to be in the public eye in my own local Hill Country town in Texas as a fairly new resident and feel like I have created a nice foundation for me to come home to after my next trip abroad which is in November for 1 1/2 yrs.
