Finally started the aloe painting this weekend, trying to get finished by Thursday!  Lots of little detail in this one compared to some recent work but much easier than pure botanical also.  I used some masking fluid for the whitish dots on the aloe and also some shiny spots on the flowers.  Will be fun to take it off when near the end, always lightens it!  Putting in a dark background to make it all "pop", think this will be a rewarding project!
