Tingly Turmeric

Indian Safflower Flower, Turmeric.  This is a spice that holds great medicinal value for people with inflammation of the joints, as an anti-inflammatory.  It is also full of antioxidants and is great for the metabolism.  I think I may be adding more spices to my portfolio of medicinal plants.  Chai Tea is a favorite of mine and I make my own.  One can add turmeric to the common recipe for added benefit.  I like the way this painting almost feels like it is vibrating!  Prints can be bought at my Fine Art America site:  http://fineartamerica.com/featured/tingly-tumeric-margaret-elizabeth-johnston-nd.html
