The Devil to the Right of Me...

...and an Angel to the left of me! Through this last weeks intensive yoga course of Unwind the Feminine here in Bali, I was reminded that we all have the yin/yang, dark/light, "good"/"bad" etc in us...these are called polarities, the far reaching sides of the most of who we are and who we may not want to be but there we have it, we are THAT. Everyday in every second we have choices to make, and each and every choice will lead into the next second and those seconds add up into a day, week, month and years, our lifetime. Who we are.

I've come to accept the ALL of me, the full montey as they say. Learning to pay attention, make the choices that I know are the best of all possibilities is a skill one must practice and it is never too late to start again. One thing that came up a lot was some of the basics of how to stay centered and strong with the conscious desire to be the best we can to ourselves and others; eating light and healthy, lots of good deep sleep and calmness in the lifestyle, turning off from the electronics in our life especially before bed and reading, learning to listen to our loved ones without judgement or a need to fix things right away. Letting them speak, and ourselves speaking from the heart. It is so easy in today's world to get caught up in all the goings on in the world, but, what is going on your your world, your inner world. Yes, I have quite the little devil to the right of me, but you know what, I have a fantastic angel to the left of me and they are both welcome!

Remember that old saying..."We can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but never all of the people all of the time." As long as we can accept ourselves and move towards listening to our inner knowing to make the best choices, well then, the future is indeed bright! I do feel remembering the "every second of every day choices leads to our future of who we are" is the take away here. I'm choosing to move into 2020 with more awareness in my choices and leaving Ubud, a large healing center in the far east here in Asia, will blast me into the realms soon as I enjoy my last few weeks here in 2019. I'm headed to India come January and looking forward to some conscious roaming working on putting years of work together into book form. Welcome 2020!
