I've been in a real 'go for it' mood this morning and have re-added a selection of the Print-on-Demand items I had deleted from my site when I was rethinking the Eco-production based on what my Bali friends are doing. After considerable thought, I feel that with the small amount of 100% Eco-products out there for me to choose from for Print-on-Demand, I don't want to be "cutting off my nose to spite my face" after 8 months of hard work on my new E-Commerce business. So, I happily am to report that I have re-instigated the more popular items; Square Totes, Clutch Bags, Yoga Mats & Throw Pillows. These items are STILL on the Eco-friendly side in that Print-on-Demand doesn't allow for mass production, each item is a wanted and special one of a kind item made on the spot for someone that wants that ONE item and for that I feel good about making my art available in this regard.
With all the beautiful designs I have to choose from for a variety of items, my favorite item is the High Waisted Bikini's with the REPREVE recycled poly material however, I have written to a few Print-on-Demand companies begging them to consider switching to the amazing material so we all can use recycled materials as a preference for our activewear. Until then, I am happy to be able to make my products available again.

I am continuing to create the Coffee Mugs, Water Bottles, Bikini's and most likely will be re-instigating the One Piece Swimsuits along with a variety of Active Tops.

Just my 3rd day here in Mexico City and I am already revved to get on this work. I have a full month to go for it and get this piece finished and glowing! Usually it takes a min of 3 wks at a relaxed pace to get on all the many layers and then to allow to dry in-between.
Going to a number of museums and galleries already, random pop-up ones also, I have been inundated with COLOUR!! Nothing stopping me now; time, space, inspirations & the will to carry on!
Having a goal, a purpose, during my travels, gives me a feeling of accomplishment more than just roaming around checking out various places does in and off itself. I love to see how my new surroundings affect my layers and pace, shadows and light. Art, for me, is a coming out, a bursting forth, a revelation even to myself with each piece that I create. I am so very pleased to be in a space I can concentrate and work knowing there is such a buzz outside my door these days...I am glad I made the change from Bali to a city for now and to keep on keepin' on!

For the year 2022 I plan to be on the road with my art supplies in suitcase. I left Bali feeling about 5 months would do me but after getting out of Jakarta and being on that plane, well, I'm feeling my old self of solo woman adventurer/artist swarming back into my blood! I thrive on going new places and am inspired more with my work on many levels. I love "making home" and have done so now in Bali, but for a year during the continuing world crisis, I am going to defy the majority and not stay put!
The main plan, as a woman with a sense of semi-luxury travel, not only having art supplies of weight with me but also quite a fairly extensive wardrobe, is to try out the AirB&B thing for monthly rentals. When one rents for the month you get off a good chunk of the rent that way. It is good to settle for the month and set up my "studio space" and have the calm feeling of exploring my new surroundings from a quiet centered home.
Mexico is my 1st stop and I have 2 months here guaranteed however I am planning on heading to the immigration office Monday to see about a 2-4 month extension. There are many different areas of Mexico to explore, a month each is purfect!
So, dear readers, it is going to be quite an adventure of inspirations, art, culture & a varied home-life for the year...keep reading the journey and share just a bit with me!
