Enter, the beginning of winter as we fall back this Sunday with time, giving us one more hour of sunlight! The seasons are changing quickly here in Texas and the rains have begun! Autumn is such a beautiful time and we are lucky here with still warmer weather than most places in the States but I feel everyone's relief as the cooler weather comes to bathe us. Happy Halloween to all the kiddies and remember; Halloween has its ultimate origins in the ancient Celtic harvest festival, Samhain, a time when people believed that the spirits of the dead roamed the earth. Celebrate this Hallow's Eve and welcome in November 2015!

I went to the Hill Country Art Invitational Art Show & Sale last night in Boerne and met a lot of the artists from around here. The Boerne Professional Artists (BPA) is an artist comminity I will be joining in the New Year to co-mingle with other artists and have information on shows to enter. It is really a great group of people. It is always good to belong to various art groups and since I am new to the area this will be great!

This is the 2nd hanging I have done at this library, it a a lovely local library with an excellent hanging space. All of these paintings were painted in my past but it is still fun to have the experience of showing my work. The paintings are at the Bulverde/Spring Branch Library in Bulverde, Texas.
