Cam Girl

Well, It's official! I am now making a life in Cambridge UK. At the end of my Vietnam time a few things occurred to guide me back to "Good ol' Merry England", reconnect with my yoga community here, some friends I made outside of that and get all set up with a living space and work. I still had my little car here and stayed at my last landlords home for the week while I went through the motions, was fun to see my old housemates again!

It was a bit nerve wracking at first, the main issue was a mistake within the California Franchise Tax Board however I am in the process of clearing that all up and have been happily enjoying working in a fun and upbeat clothing store called Free People (similar to Anthropology if you know it) and back at Floatwell as a Spa Creator in time and doing massage and meet and great work right away. I feel Floatwell is a real career opportunity for me along with the less serious Free People job to balance things out.

I'm back to having a bicycle also and have already rejoined my fave yoga places here, there are 3 on the go right now and I will be integrating one more before the year is out! I enjoy having class passes for a variety of places depending on where I am headed for that day and it makes it more fun to get to know all the local places and peeps and say "Hey! I'm back!"!

My art for now is on hold because I am once again in a living situation that doesn't allow for that. I will be aiming to move into my own place come next summer, or some kind of art co-op housing creation, but for the next 1/2 year I will just be focused on getting the Floatwell ideas "up and running" side of things and hopefully getting to keep Free People for a while also. It may not last forever due to the all encompassing Floatwell opps however I will hold onto it as long as I can!

Even though the art is on hold, there are plenty of wonderful artists to enjoy in Cambridge and I enjoy art appreciation just as much as doing it, so it's a win win! I have been enjoying the Autumn weather, brisk and cool, colours of tree changes and of course am still member of both the Cambridge Botanical Gardens and English National Trust so have been doing a bit of country driving on days off. Back to the land of my birth for a few years minimum is what I am committed to, then see how things move.  It is also nice to reconnect with my British family down in London and elsewhere here...Loving England!
