Punctuating the Pineapple Flower
I'm at the point of getting to have some fun with this present painting I am working on with inserting dark corners into the work to bring forth the 3D effect. Same as in life...as we explore the quiet corners of our lives', it can really help to deepen our own experience within ourselves, then we can see how the bright light and energy coming forth can "zoom" into existence!
This 1st of 5 paintings, all size 20" x 26" before matting & framing, will all represent to me what Tropical Hawaii is with a combo of the main tropical fruits and flowers I come across every day here.
I am itching to do Noni and Kava-Kava as strong well-known Hawaiian medicinal plants but will begin with the vibrant colours that come forth with the Pineapple, Mango, Papaya, Plumeria (Frangipani) and Hibiscus, this being the Hawaiian State Flower. All of these choices are found in S.E. Asia where I have much affinity so am happy to be moving forward with these "to come" creations!
Scented flower sea breeze, tropical tantalizing sweet juicy fruits, waves crashing with starry nights, hammock swinging and moon glows, deeply tanned scented salty skin...what a dream in find myself in.
